Childhood and The Pandemic

Teddy (9) and William (7) are my little cousins. My goal with this project was to document this strange time for them but to also explore childhood and how the pandemic has impacted that. I would go over to their house and photograph their everyday lives. This consisted of things such as them doing homework, playing games on their devices and talking to their friends remotely, painting, drawing, reading, playing piano, and playing outside.

As I went through the photos I realized how in one way their lives have changed drastically but at the same time some things are the same. They are still kids and do what they know. Even when things were hard for them this past year they have done really well adjusting to the changing times.
